LKW787: I was a freelance film (avid) editor on several TV shows before I had a baby and nearly died of a rare pregnancy related complication, HELLP Syndrome, that gave me a stroke, required emergency brain surgery (among other interventions) and put me in a 3 week long coma. Writing about that illness & recovery and raising my daughter are my current occupations. One day I hope to resume editing as it was a profession that I loved.
