Love his work too and have heard him read several times.  He is a GREAT reader of his work and very kind.  I bought a book, asked him to sign it, and told him I also loved the work of Lynda Hull, a poet (recently dead) with whom I knew he had been close friends.  He looked sad and agreed that her work had been great.
